About
FaScan
FaScan is being built as a unified industrial automation ecosystem: FaScan IDE, FaScan RT, an OPC UA server and a PC Soft PLC share one project model. Free engineering tools, including Pipeline Designer for process-pipeline simulation, complement the platform.
Shared architecture
FaScan ecosystem
The components are developed as one platform for project engineering, execution, external integration and testing.
FaScan IDE capabilities
- IP SCAN: IPv4 range scanning, TCP port checks and LIVE network-state monitoring during commissioning.
- VARIABLES: fast transition from a discovered IP address to Modbus TCP, with coils, discrete inputs, holding registers and input registers.
- CoDeSys V3 tag support with readable variable names instead of manual address matching.
- Data grouping into folders and devices, plus header quick controls: lamp, button, progress bar, value output and text message.
- WINDOWS: panel-window editor with Number, Lamp, Button, Progress bar, Message, Alarm journal and Graph elements.
- Signed
.fasrtexport and runtime execution in the separate FaScan RT environment. - Selected-parameter logging, event journal rules, alarm journal views and graphs based on logged data.
- IDE charts: time graph, XY Plot and value distribution.
- Dark interface for long engineering sessions.
Who it is for
- Industrial automation engineers and commissioning specialists.
- Users who need to quickly find a device in a local network.
- Integrators checking Modbus TCP communication.
- Support teams diagnosing device reachability.
