FaScan

Runtime environment

FaScan RT

FaScan RT runs signed .fasrt panel windows created in FaScan IDE. It is a lightweight runtime for workstations where operators need the finished panel without the full engineering project editor.

Why RT exists

  • Separates the working panel from the FaScan IDE engineering environment.
  • Runs a signed window with variable bindings and display rules.
  • Fits local operator stations, test benches and maintenance PCs.
  • Works as a runtime: the user opens a panel, not the whole project.

What it can show

  • Numeric values, lamps, buttons, progress bars and text messages.
  • An alarm journal based on window rules and live variable values.
  • Graphs based on logged channels when the panel file contains logging settings.
  • Modbus TCP and CoDeSys V3 tag data saved inside the signed window.

Workflow

  • Open WINDOWS in FaScan IDE and build a panel window.
  • Configure elements, rules, logging, event journal and graphs.
  • Save the signed .fasrt file.
  • Install FaScan RT on the target computer and open that file.

Current public build

  • FaScan RT FREE 1.3.0.1 for Windows x64.
  • Runs one signed panel window.
  • Uses one tray runtime process; repeated launches forward the requested window to the running runtime.
  • Download is available without purchasing a license.

Download RT FREE

Install FaScan RT FREE on the computer where the prepared panel window will run. The panel itself is created and signed in FaScan IDE.
