Network scanner, ARP, ICMP and Modbus TCP scanner
During commissioning, it is important to see which devices are actually present, which IP addresses are occupied and whether a controller responds to Modbus TCP.
Why ARP and ICMP both matter
ARP can reveal devices in the local segment even when ping is disabled. ICMP shows ping reachability, but can be blocked by firewall settings.
TCP and Modbus checks
A TCP port check verifies that a service is reachable. A Modbus request verifies that the device also accepts the industrial protocol.
LIVE and autoscan
LIVE helps track network composition in real time. Autoscan repeats discovery while equipment is being connected, rebooted or replaced.
